Indian-American becomes new chairman of the Broome County Republicans, in NY

Bijoy Datta, of the town of Fenton, was unanimously elected as the new chairman of the Broome County Republican Committee at their re-organizational meeting held ...every other year.

"We are late in the game obviously, we're in the fourth quarter when it comes to both mayor races in the city of Binghamton and in the village of Johnson City," Datta said. "So those are going to be top priorities right away."
